we’d like to say a big thank you to the Methodist Women in Britain for their donation of £100.
Thanks to St Andrews and St Johns sent a cheque for £133.17 and to St Marys sent a cheque for £181.
Thank you to Emmanuel Methodist Church who have given us a cheque for £250, part of the annual shareout they do of proceeds from their weekly coffee morning.
We have been sucessful in a bid to the Sheffield Mutual for a grant of £500.
We are grateful to the Wesleyan Reform Circuit in Barnsley who have donated £110 to us.
A cheque was gratefully received from the Yorkshire Building Society for £100, it was part of their Make a Difference Week.
We also received £300 from the harvest collection at Staincross Methodist Church.
We have been successful in receiving a grant from the Community First scheme.
St Mary’s RC church at Penistone, raised £200 for us from their stall sale.

At Royston Methodist Church on Sunday it was the Girls’ Brigade 70th Anniversary Celebration and they presented Starter Packs with three boxes full of packets of tea and biscuits, each beautifully wrapped and with a little poem attached, which will look very nice in the SP boxes when they go out.
We are really grateful for such a lovely donation.
